You’re a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with proven leadership skills and a strong background in community mental health and substance use disorder treatment. You’re passionate about balancing clinical care with organizational leadership, and you’re eager to mentor a team while shaping the future of behavioral health services in your community.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll split your time evenly between direct patient care and administrative leadership. As part of the Executive Team, you will:
- Provide mentorship and clinical oversight to a team of PMHNPs
- Contribute to program development, organizational strategy, and quality improvement
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to strengthen services
- Ensure best practices in mental health and substance use disorder treatment
- Help guide the organization’s mission while maintaining a meaningful clinical practice
Who We Are
Discovery Behavioral Healthcare is a state-licensed community behavioral health center serving children, families, and adults in East Jefferson County, WA. We provide outpatient treatment and community support services, and oversee:
- 24-hour mental health crisis services, including evaluations under the Involuntary Treatment Act
- Authorization for publicly funded psychiatric hospitalizations
We’re a dynamic, collaborative organization that works closely with regional law enforcement, Superior and District Courts, Jefferson Healthcare, primary care providers, housing programs, and other key partners to support our community.
What We Offer
- Annual salary: $175,000 – $185,000
