Monadnock's InShape Program Featured
 

A wellness program of Monadnock Family Services (MFS) of New Hampshire has caught the attention of the federal HHS/Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality. InShape, an exercise and nutrition program provided by MFS and replicated by at least two MHCA member organizations, is featured at the AHRQ Healthcare Innovations Exchange website: http://www.innovations.ahrq.gov/content.aspx?id=2444

MFS CEO Ken Jue has been invited to present InShape at a future MHCA conference.

Keynoters' Book Released: Ordinary Greatness
 

At MHCA's recent 2009 Spring Conference in Savannah, Georgia, keynoters were co-authors Pamela Bilbrey and Brian Jones. New Tool for Risk Management
 

The Mental Health Risk Retention Group (MHRRG) has announced release of a new loss prevention tool on the topic of Comprehensive Decision Making - Treatment and Interventions for High Risk Mental Health Patients. A DVD and accompanying information booklet were created by MHRRG Counsel Ronald P. Zimmet. MHRRG insured companies received copies as part of their education benefit. Best Practice Awards Given at Annual Conference
 

At its 2009 Winter Conference and Annual Meeting, MHCA presented Best Practice Awards in 16 categories to participants in its Customer Satisfaction Management System. Those present at the Annual Business Meeting / Luncheon received their awards in person. These commendations have been made annually since 1996 and recognize outstanding practices as evidenced by data submitted to MHCA's National Data Center.
